The Splitter Box is the most flexible solution to tap your Fiber Optical network. Its 4 full-duplex ports and different split-rates offer a combination of possibilities not able to reach by using standard available taps.

 

Normal full/duplex taps with the same split-rate in both channels work ideal in the middle of a network where the signal is equally strong. They make a compromise used at the end and do therefore often not work in critical networks.

 

The Splitter Box allows for testing in your critical network with different split-rates, like for instance 50/50 in the arriving signal and 80/20 in the leaving signal. Knowing the required tap data you know which tap to buy or Comcraft can custom build “your ideal tap” at a very competitive price.

 

 

 

It holds high quality couplers and zirconia sleeve adapters. The Tap Ports (4) are accessible from the front while the Network Ports (8) are accessible from the backside.
