Technical Tip # 1

How a breakout Box can help your 25K$ analyzer.

You know the nightmare, you look for the communication to go wrong, it always does but just not now. What to do? In Emulation mode you could insert errors, but you monitor a line and your analyzer is unable to insert errors.  You can pull a cable out, but this causes errors on all circuit and causes an impossible problem for your system to manage.

The solution: BOBs are designed to control the hardware interface. By means of a BOB you can shortly break one circuit, an error your system should manage. Stop waiting for the errors to come, emulate them yourself. Even if your system works perfectly you can test "what if….."!

BOBs can give answers about signal strength, terminate a line, change state of a control line. It tells on which side a signal is broken or shorted. Things analyzers can not do for you.

Do not wait for things to happen, save time and money, "emulate mistakes yourself".
